Welcome to Port Bruce Rescue, a volunteer-based non-profit organization dedicated to marine search and rescue. Established in 2015, we are committed to saving lives and promoting safe boating activities in our community. Our team operates out of North Erie Marina at Port Bruce, Ontario, providing critical services across Lake Erie from Long Point, Ontario, to Erieau, Ontario
Our vessel, the Reel Knight, is equipped to respond to emergencies on the water. Our volunteers undergo rigorous training to ensure they are prepared for a variety of situations. We collaborate closely with the Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary and other local agencies to deliver effective and coordinated search and rescue operations.
At Port Bruce Rescue, our mission is to prevent loss of life and ensure the safety of boaters in our region. We also engage in public education initiatives to raise awareness about boating safety and the importance of being prepared on the water.
